You probably don't know it, but you already know Robert Dempster. He's come to you at personal level with his honest creativity in simple everyday expressions. Whether you have passed his signs welcoming you to Bloomfield Hills with his sign or on your way into Western Market for fresh tomatoes, you have seen him. That favorite tee-shirt that you've had for years with the logo of your golf team on it; if it is from the Detroit area, Robert probably had a hand in getting it to you quickly and affordably. Perhaps you have been walking your dog through Ferndale on a Wednesday evening and heard the soft tones of a guitar and flute resonating from a nearby coffeehouse. That's Robert. Maybe you've heard some of his music on MySpace. A truck for Wright & Filippis passes you on Woodward delivering the best in home care to its customers. Robert designed that truck's presentation as well as countless others with the utmost care. Did you know the jingle for Wright and Filippis that you hear on your favorite radio station while driving in the car is also Robert's? He was also once a proud and award-winning presenter on your local cable television station in Bloomfield Hills. On a more personal level perhaps you have gotten to know Robert through his art. A self-made success story much like this city, Robert is driven by his own personal ambition and the constant buzz of innovation. An entrepreneur, Robert pursued the American Dream - he created his own small businesses that included t-shirt companies that provided the people of Detroit with quality products at a reasonable price.
